StellarCube announced that it is beginning the Sejong University Campus Digital Twin project in cooperation with Sejong University's IoT Convergence University Program. The project aims to recreate the Sejong University campus in an online space in real time using digital twin technology.

A digital twin is a technology that reproduces physical objects or systems in a virtual space, allowing the various elements of the campus to be visualized at a 1:1 scale. StellarCube will collect data from across the campus through IoT, process it on edge servers, and deliver it in real time in a metaverse environment. Students and faculty will thereby gain a more intuitive and effective way to use the IoT testbed of the IoT Convergence University Program.

The digital twin project is expected to contribute significantly to implementing projects within the program and to IoT-linked activities through the IoT testbed on a digitized campus, and to innovating the educational environment.

Through the project, StellarCube and Sejong University plan to present an educational model built on a testbed within an innovative digital twin environment, and to lead the advance of digital technology. The collaboration, whose further development is anticipated, is expected to establish itself as a practical use case for digital twin technology.
