[TIPA Global R&D] Advancing Joint Research on PainCube with Johns Hopkins University

StellarCube joined the TIPA Global R&D Partnership Workshop at Johns Hopkins University to advance joint research on PainCube and define key milestones, validation strategies, and research outcomes.

StellarCube participated in the TIPA Global R&D Partnership Workshop, hosted by JHBIC at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

During the visit, we met with Dr. Sungmin Cho, Project Leader (PL), along with other research stakeholders to discuss the direction of our joint research on PainCube.

Key discussions focused on defining the major milestones, deliverables, and performance validation strategy for pain prediction during the preliminary phase of the TIPA Global Collaborative R&D program, while further shaping the roadmap toward the main R&D project.

We also reviewed the multimodal data resources available at the Johns Hopkins HERALD Lab to support the advancement and clinical validation of PainCube’s AI models. HERALD Lab holds more than 52,700 multimodal data records, including over 12,700 waveform records and more than 20,000 EMR records.

Through this meeting, we were able to further clarify the execution framework for our joint research with Johns Hopkins University and define the key technical and clinical outcomes, as well as the core performance metrics to be achieved during the preliminary research phase.

Building on this foundation, StellarCube will continue to systematically strengthen PainCube’s pain prediction performance and clinical evidence, while steadily building the research outcomes and deliverables required for the TIPA Global Collaborative R&D main project selection later this year.

Together with Johns Hopkins University and our clinical partner in Korea, Korea University Anam Hospital, we will continue strengthening our global research collaboration and accelerating the development of PainCube toward a more objective and proactive approach to pain management.
