StellarCube accelerates US market entry through the New Jersey biotech summit

StellarCube, an AI and data-driven healthcare company, took part in the Private Biotech Summit held in Jersey City, New Jersey, presenting its AI–bio converged technology and global business capabilities. Starting from this summit, StellarCube plans to advance a global expansion strategy centered on the US healthcare market.

Korean bio innovators accelerate East Coast entry through the New Jersey Private Biotech Summit

GenBody and StellarCube, leading Korean biotech innovators, took part in the first Private Biotech Summit held in New Jersey. The event was co-hosted by the Korea Culture and Economic Development Institute (KCED) and the Korean chapter of the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with Choose New Jersey, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) and BioNJ.

The summit brought together invited institutions and leaders of innovative companies, and was regarded as a symbolic event raising Korea–US biotech cooperation and US market entry to a new level.

Global leaders in one place

The summit opened at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City. Paul Hoffman, the center's president and CEO, emphasized in his opening address that New Jersey is growing into a global hub for science, innovation and economic cooperation.

Attendees included Alex Richter of Choose New Jersey, John Coehlo of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), and representatives from the office of US Senator Andy Kim (Democrat, New Jersey). Debbie Hart, president of BioNJ, emphasized that the state of New Jersey is actively working to expand bio industry cooperation between Korea and the United States and to build a sustainable innovation ecosystem.

During the week, the Korean delegation visited major US research institutions including the Center for Discovery and Innovation at Hackensack Meridian Health, Rutgers Health and Rutgers University, Rowan University and CMIC-CSOPS.

Each session was organized as a tailored matching program on themes including clinical trials and AI–bio convergence, regulatory cooperation and US market entry strategy. Through them, participants from both countries communicated directly with institutional and government officials, creating the basis for substantive cooperation and long-term collaboration in bio and digital health innovation.

GenBody: expanding clinical infrastructure on the US East and West Coasts

Jeong Jeom-gyu, CEO of the Korean in-vitro diagnostics specialist GenBody, and Derick Kwon, a US clinical trials manager based in California, attended the summit to explore stronger research cooperation and clinical trial networks in the United States. GenBody already operates large-scale production facilities on the US West Coast, and plans to use the event as a starting point for making New Jersey its clinical and partnership hub on the East Coast. The GenBody team explored a range of cooperation models with the Hackensack Meridian Health, Rutgers Health and BioNJ networks, including clinical validation, FDA cooperation and expanded local production.

"This summit is an important milestone in GenBody's efforts to establish bases on both the East and West Coasts of the United States," said Sylvia Kim, chair of the Korean chapter of the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce and founder of KCED. "Through its entry into New Jersey, GenBody is expected to be able to work directly with leading hospitals and research institutions in a key US innovation region."

StellarCube: a bridge connecting AI, digital platforms and life sciences

Led by CEO Jinseob Noh and its R&D team, StellarCube unveiled a proprietary AI-based bioinformatics and predictive analytics platform spanning healthcare, gaming and smart medical devices.

StellarCube is actively developing a next-generation AI platform for molecular diagnostics, and announced at the summit that it had signed a letter of intent with an AI and large language model (LLM) specialist headquartered in Las Vegas. The agreement is part of a strategic collaboration to jointly advance AI–bio converged technology in the US market.

The agreement is regarded as an important milestone in StellarCube's US market entry strategy, and further consolidates its global vision of combining AI computation with the pharmaceutical and medical data ecosystem by 2026.

A new milestone for Korea–New Jersey bio cooperation

With Choose New Jersey, NJEDA, BioNJ and representatives of major New Jersey universities and hospitals taking part, the summit established itself as a model of close cooperation between Korean biotech innovators and the US life sciences industry.

Unlike large public exhibitions, the event was run as a results-focused, closed-door program, and produced concrete, practical paths for clinical cooperation, investment discussions and technology transfer.

"This event was not a simple exhibition but a gathering where cooperation was proven by results," said Sylvia Kim. "GenBody and StellarCube have built a practical cooperation framework connecting Korean technology with New Jersey's innovation infrastructure. This is the direction global partnerships should take."

Next steps: the second Private Biotech Matching Summit in March 2026

Building on the success of this first summit, KCED plans to hold a second Private Biotech Matching Summit in March 2026. Korean biotech, AI health and digital healthcare companies will take part in large numbers, and a new bio matching platform will be introduced to support continued cooperation and investment.
