StellarCube selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 2025 Technology Innovation Development Program
Joint work on a multimodal generative AI-based digital healthcare platform

StellarCube, a specialist in digital twins and the metaverse, has been selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 2025 SME Technology Innovation Development Program. The program is a national research and development project intended to promote the transfer of public technology in the twelve national strategic technology fields and to strengthen technology commercialization capabilities.
Together with To Be One Solutions (lead company) and Daejin University, StellarCube will jointly carry out the project "Development of a multimodal generative AI-based digital healthcare platform" over a total of 24 months from 2025 to 2027.
StellarCube is responsible for implementing a 3D digital twin-based virtual space healthcare system. The technology scans a senior's actual living space using 360-degree cameras and photogrammetry, automatically models it as a 3D mesh space, and generates a digital twin environment identical to reality.
The platform visualizes the status of care recipients through location tracking and real-time mapping of health information, and combines that with gamification elements to encourage participation in health activities. Users can carry out daily health missions, dietary goals and cognitive quizzes and receive point rewards, helping them form health management habits voluntarily.
StellarCube has carried out numerous technology projects including digital twin-based GIS spatial information services, metaverse construction and AI data analysis. It has demonstrated its capabilities in photorealistic spatial modelling and real-time data integration through projects such as the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art metaverse exhibition, the LiDAR metaverse environment at Sejong University, and the smart city simulation for the Korea Construction Education Institute.
Building on those references, the company plans to advance elderly care services to a new level through the development of a senior healthcare metaverse platform combining AI and digital twin technology. A professor in the Division of Gastroenterology at Korea University Anam Hospital is taking part in the project, working on refining AI models for predicting the onset of chronic conditions in older people and providing clinical advice. This strengthens the connection between technology development and clinical practice and will help build an efficient and multi-dimensional senior care framework.
The system StellarCube is developing will enable early diagnosis and preventive treatment through real-time analysis of older people's health status and disease prediction, and is expected to contribute to preventing the worsening of chronic conditions and to reducing medical costs across society.
