StellarCube named a finalist in the IES 2026 Startup Pitch Competition in the US
Presenting research progress and the global development direction of the AI pain management platform PainCube
StellarCube, a specialist in AI and healthcare, has been selected as a finalist in the Startup Pitch Competition at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Symposium (IES) at UKC 2026, held in the United States.
IES is an innovation and entrepreneurship symposium hosted by the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA), now in its eighth year. It was created to connect the startup ecosystems of the United States and Korea and to expand opportunities for global R&D collaboration and technology commercialization among startups, investors, researchers and industry experts. This year's theme is "AI-Era Tech Startups and SMEs: Building Strategic R&D Partnerships".
As a finalist, StellarCube will present PainCube, its AI-based pain management platform, on the Startup Pitch Competition stage on 7 August.
In the presentation the company will introduce PainCube's research progress, the development direction of its multimodal biosignal-based pain prediction AI, and its future global commercialization strategy.
PainCube is an AI-based pain management platform that quantifies a patient's pain state and predicts the likelihood of pain occurring in advance, using multimodal biosignals such as ECG (electrocardiogram), PPG (photoplethysmogram) and HRV (heart rate variability) together with EMR (electronic medical record) data. StellarCube is building clinical datasets and refining its pain prediction AI models through joint research with Korea University Anam Hospital and Johns Hopkins University.
Alongside the Startup Pitch Competition, StellarCube will take part in the IES Innovation Showcase and Bio/Health Workshop on 6 August, Global R&D Networking on 7 August, and the IES SPC Networking Lunch on 8 August.
