StellarCube drives innovation in culture and tourism with data and AI
Building a culture and tourism AI insight platform that combines telecom, payment and social media data

StellarCube, a specialist in AI and data, is drawing attention for leading data-driven innovation in the culture and tourism sector.
The company has built a culture and tourism AI insight platform that combines de-identified data from telecom networks, cards, POS systems and social media, and uses AI analysis to interpret regional tourism characteristics and consumer behavior patterns in detail.
The platform supports visitor analysis for tourist sites, sentiment review analysis and cultural consumer persona design, shifting the whole decision-making process in the culture and tourism industry towards data.
From intuition to clarity in cultural planning
"Why do people visit a particular destination?" "After a festival or exhibition ends, what feelings do visitors carry away?" StellarCube's work began with exactly these questions.
The company combined telecom movement data, card payment records, POS sales information and social media review data to translate people's movement and emotions into a single data language. The result was the culture and tourism AI insight platform, which analyzes each region's tourism patterns, spending flows and cultural preferences in detail.
Three cases that changed practice
Reading the detail of marine tourism — "City A yacht tours"
City A had run yacht tourism for a long time, but found it difficult to know who was visiting, when and why. StellarCube combined mobile network data with more than 20,000 booking records to analyze visitors' routes, dwell times and spending patterns.
The analysis found that, by season, visitors concentrated their stays in premium accommodation and marine leisure areas before and after yacht rides. On that basis City A designed tourism products linking accommodation and leisure, and saw increases in both visitor dwell time and local spending.
Reading how people really feel — "City B social media review analysis"
Every festival season, tens of thousands of reviews poured onto social media in City B, but the real feelings within them were hard to read. StellarCube used AI to collect Google Maps reviews for 84 tourist sites in multiple languages and automatically classify positive and negative sentiment keywords.
During cherry blossom festival season, for example, positive words such as "night view" and "picnic" were common, while "waiting time" and "congestion" emerged as the main sources of dissatisfaction. The findings were fed directly into policy improvements such as adjusting festival routes and dispersing crowds, significantly raising on-site satisfaction.
AI finds the culture that suits you — "Cultureplus"
StellarCube combined data on 8,900 cultural facilities nationwide with telecom and card data to develop Cultureplus, an AI-based personalized cultural recommendation service. Depending on the user's age, daily routine and spending tendencies, it offers suggestions such as "a play might suit you better than an exhibition this weekend" or "family experience centers are popular nearby".
For cultural facility managers, it provides AI reports that make regional demand analysis, event planning and promotional targeting straightforward.
Narrowing cultural gaps with data
StellarCube followed legal and ethical procedures rigorously from the data collection stage onwards. All data was analyzed safely and lawfully through pseudonymization, legal counsel and properly licensed purchases. Statistical adjustment techniques were also applied to secure the representativeness and reliability of the data and meet public data standards.
Thanks to that framework, StellarCube's data has developed into continuously extensible infrastructure for cultural policy rather than "analysis used once and discarded".
Changed practice, different results
Above all, the shift from intuition-led cultural planning to scientific, data-centered planning has drawn a strong response from the industry.
Small regional festival offices and tourism operators can also use these insights directly without complex systems, earning the platform a reputation as "a data innovation platform anyone can use easily".
Jinseob Noh, CEO of StellarCube, said: "Culture and tourism policy can no longer rely on intuition; precise data-based analysis is becoming a core factor in industry competitiveness. With AI analytics spanning telecom, payment and social media data, StellarCube will strengthen the competitiveness of regional tourism and build an ecosystem in which anyone can make decisions based on data."
